FAQ

• When can I get my tools and knives sharpened? The next dates are Monday 11th November and Monday 9th December.
• What time is the tool sharpening service available? 9:30am to 3:30pm.
• Where are the tools sharpened? Tools are sharpened in the car park under the Renew Sharpening Services marquee located just outside the main entrance at the bottom of the steps.
• How long does it take to sharpen tools/knives? Tools and knives are sharpened whilst you wait and will depend on the item and how many are being sharpened. Whilst you wait, take a stroll through the garden centre and see what catches your eye. We also have the Sol-e-Mio café with a great selection of food and drinks.
• Can I leave my tools/knives at the garden centre on a previous day and collect later? We are unable to accommodate tools/knives being dropped off prior to the event day. On the day of the tool sharpening event please go straight to David at the marquee.
• How much does it cost? See prices below.
• How do I pay? All payments are made direct to David from Renew Sharpening. Accepted methods of payment: Cash, Debit/Credit Card, Bank Transfer and PayPal.
• I am a Sunshine member. Can I use my membership and discounts for this service? Renew Sharpening Services are an independent business we work in partnership with. As such you will not be able to use your membership or discounts with this service.
• Can you sharpen blades from cylinder lawnmowers? Due to the design of the blades on cylinder lawnmowers they can’t be sharpened using this service. Blades from rotary lawnmowers are fine to be sharpened.
