Tool of the Month - April 2019

Posted in WOLF-Garten Blog by Lee Wills on 25/03/2019

The clocks have gone forward and spring has finally sprung!

Expect sunshine and of course, showers. The perfect conditions for your trees and flowers to begin bursting into bloom.

According to the Royal Horticultural Society, the top ten jobs to get on with this month in the garden are as follows:

  • Keep weeds under control
  • Protect fruit blossom from late frosts
  • Tie in climbing and rambling roses
  • Sow hardy annuals, herbs and wild flower seed outdoors
  • Start to feed citrus plants
  • Increase the water given to houseplants
  • Feed hungry shrubs and roses
  • Sow new lawns or repair bare patches
  • Prune fig trees
  • Divide bamboos and waterlilies

With the arrival of your flowers, comes the dreaded arrival of that garden parasite, weeds.

These dirty rogues are popping up all other the place and causing such a nuisance, oh bother!

But do not fear, the rotters can be swiftly dealt with, Wolf Garten (of course) have just the tool for the job, you need a cultiweeder.

Perfect for ripping those suckers right out of the earth or simply slicing their head off, brilliant.

For tool of the month we've chosen the Wolf Garten Multi-ChangeĀ® Cultiweeder 10cm.

A great size that neatly attaches to any Wolf Garten Multi-change handle in your arsenal.

Use the lance shaped prongs to break up the soil and then the sharp blade to cut through the weed, bosh.
